In July 23 Ben and Mike determined that our A/C coil was leaking refrigerant and subsequently replaced it. About a month later we felt our cooling lessoning. Ben and Mike returned promptly and found that the new coil was leaking refrigerant. The coil was covered by warranty and replaced. Im not sure what the industry practice is in such situations but we were not billed for the labor or refrigerant.What I am certain about is the professional nature of Ben and Mike.There are lots of A/C folks in the STL area but I doubt you can find a better company to use for your A/C needs!

I would like to tell you a story that happened to me today and what CUSTOMER SERVICE should be. As more of us know in today's world, customer service does not really exist. If you don't go through some type of a robotic call, you TRY to communicate with someone from who knows what country and English is probably their 3rd language ( which does impress me, because I can barely communicate in English),or some type of combination of the two.My story involves Wildwood Heating and Cooling. Today the temperature was near 100 and the two AC units were working just fine. Around 2:30, we noticed that the smaller upstairs unit was not working. I tried all the usual quick fix options, none of which worked. So, I called Wildwood and left a message with Scott. To my amazement on a hot day like today, Scott returned my call in less than 90 minutes, on a crazy hot day. I was sure we would not be able to have anyone at our home until early next week.. When Scott called, very pleasantly , I might add, he informed us that he would try to get someone over still today. Shortly after that conversation, in which I was able to understand every word, I received an email, stating that "Ben" was on his way. Within 45 minutes, Ben was at our front door and had the issue diagnosed and corrected in under 30 minutes, No rush charge, no wondering where we were going to sleep tonight. When Ben arrived, He stated that he remembered doing some work at our house in the past and was pretty sure he knew what the problem was.So here is to Scot and Ben, who really know what CUSTOMER SERVICE is all about.Maybe some of you larger corporations should read this and take a lesson from Scott and Ben.Thank you Wildwood Heating and Cooling for taking care of your customer and understanding Customer Service

Exceptionally professional, personable and knowledgeable technicians. I was fortunate to get an appointment same day and the technicians look at my situation, and didn’t at any point try to pressure me into a replacement or repair that wasn’t needed. They gave me options of what could be done without trying to get me to buy into anything unnecessary.
I will continue to do business with Wildwood H&C.

Scott is outstanding. When our furnace wouldnt stay on during a cold Saturday morning, I gave him a call and he helped me troubleshoot the issue by phone, avoiding a service call. The furnace was up and running again in 15 minutes. Outstanding service.

Nothing but positive things to say about Wildwood Heating & Cooling. Scott answered the phone and was quick and precise in his responses. He was able to fit me in today which is great! Ben came out to take a look at our ac unit and found it was just a bad capacitor. He was super polite throughout the process. He was able to get everything working.
Will recommend to friends and family.

I had been told by two different reputable HVAC companies that my wife and I needed to replace our 10-14 year old Carrier Infinity HVAC and furnace because they were freezing over and subsequently melting, leaving water all through our basement. Scott and Wildwood Heating & Cooling were referrals from a family friend that I called to get a quote before I decided on replacement.
After taking my call, Scott spoke extensively about my system specifically and my HVAC issue generally and agreed to come out and take a look at our issue before tailoring a quote to our specific needs. Scott sent out a tech and his assistant (Ben I think, unfortunately I was not there during their visit). After describing the issue, Ben said and did several things that are worth noting for prospective customers.
1.) I don't want you to pay to replace this system unless you actually need to replace something.
2.) (After having the diagnosis done by the other company's workman) I will act according to those results because I think he probably did a good job. He didn't bad mouth other companies or their work like other people who had sent me a quote, instead stating that he didn't think that the average tech would try and screw someone over.
3.) Acted incredibly carefully while walking and talking through the house because my 3 month old was asleep.
After having spent almost an hour checking different things and adjusting my HVAC settings, Ben told me he thinks that he has it fixed and that I wouldn't require replacement. He was fantastic to work with and I would UNHESITATINGLY recommend this company. They were fair, honest, and prevented me from spending $13,000 unnecessarily. Even if this repair doesn't fully fix it, I will call Scott and Wildwood Heating & Cooling, Inc. for all my HVAC concerns.
